Dr.Anand Joshi, MS, DNB (Plastic Surgery) consultant, Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgeon
Anand Joshi, presently running in the 50th year of his life,
has been into private practice for the last 18 years since 2004 as a
Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon and a Hair Transplant Surgeon.
Being from an essentially non-medico family, choosing medical
profession as a career was certainly not an easy decision for him,
but his passion for this field and hard work made it possible.
He graduated from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Mumbai and completed
his M.B.B.S. in 1995 following which he did his post graduation and
obtained the Masters degree, M.S. in 1999 & DNB (General Surgery) in 2000 from the
same medical college. Thereafter, being a born artist, his passion
for beauty, he choose to be a Plastic Surgeon and completed his superspeciality
degree, D.N.B. i.e Diplomat of National Board in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery
again from the same medical college in 2003.
After this he was offered a one
year fellowship program in Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery in Tata Memorial
Hospital and Cancer Centre, Mumbai. After completing this fellowship, he started
his private practice in 2004 with a keen interest in cosmetic surgery and hair
restoration by joining as a visiting consultant to all the major hospitals spanned
in the entire cities of Thane and Mumbai.
I established my own day care centre for cosmetic surgery and hair restoration in
Thane in the year 2007.
